Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides tutoring services, peer mentoring, testing services, and individual academic consultations. The Academic Success Center is located in Suite 1303 in the Zach S. Henderson Library (Building 208) on the Statesboro Campus. Tutoring services are available from 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

On the Armstrong Campus, The Academic Success Center is located in the Pirate Athletics Center (PAC) building (Building 20). Tutoring services will be offered in Fall 2019 (more information coming soon!).

Peer Tutoring – Statesboro Campus

Peer tutoring for Engineering Science (ENGR) and Mechanical Engineering (MENG) courses is available from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday in Room 2120 in the Engineering Building (Building 232).

Peer Tutoring – Armstrong Campus

Peer tutoring for Engineering Graphics, Computing for Engineers, and Engineering Mechanics I is available at the Engineering Learning Center on the Armstrong Campus in Room 240 in University Hall (Building 14). Peer tutors are available from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday.


MATLAB Marina is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) dedicated to the improvement of student learning of programming concepts using MATLAB, a technical computing language. It consists of several learning modules organized under the following areas: Fundamental Programming Concepts, Advanced Programming Concepts, and Applications.
