The mission of the student chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers at Georgia Southern is to enhance student education, to provide an interface between students and industry, and to increase students’ marketability in the workplace.

Lab Tours

For the individual tour requests, the Manufacturing Engineering Department is glad to offer research and teaching laboratory tours on Fridays from 12:45 – 1:45 PM. Interested parties should contact the Manufacturing Engineering Department at (912) 478-2464 or mfge@georgiasouthern.edu to schedule a tour reservation.

Manufacturing Engineering tours occur in the new Engineering and Research building.
