Faculty and Staff

Georgia Southern provides a student-centered environment led by dedicated faculty members who truly care about student success. Unlike some large schools, classes are taught by qualified faculty, rather than graduate students and class sizes are smaller. You will not find yourself warehoused in a lecture hall for 300 students with little or no contact with the instructor.We encourage innovative teaching in order to reinforce students’ creativity, confidence and competence.

Many of our faculty have worked in industry, so they bring real world authenticity to their lectures. The faculty are accomplished engineers in their respective fields and their goal is to provide you with the tools to be an accomplished mechanical engineer in your own right.
