Facilities

Since the origination of engineering at Georgia Southern University, there has been significant growth of student population in the College of Engineering and Computing. To match the demand, the university has heavily invested in resources by offering new majors and expanding facilities. Starting in Spring 2021, the Manufacturing Engineering Department will move to the new Center for Engineering and Research (CEaR). The facility will offer state-of-the-art equipment for research, teaching, and outreach.

Current equipment within the Manufacturing Engineering Department is housed in both Carruth and IT buildings and is set to move into CEaR once completed. A summary list of manufacturing equipment include:
