Dr. Cesmeci Receives Award of Excellence for Student Success
Dr. Sevki Cesmeci, assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering, received the 2022-23 University Award of Excellence for Student Success. According to his colleagues, “Dr. Cesmeci has shown great dedication to student success… in his first three years and under one of the most challenging times, during the pandemic.”
Additionally, Dr. Cesmeci has mentored many students in research, notably taking five students from Georgia Southern to this year’s Posters at the Capitol (see news post from March 14, 2023).
