CAC of ABET Re-accredit BS Programs in CS and IT
The Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET has awarded re-accreditation to the BS with a major in Computer Science degree program and the BS in Information Technology program of the Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Computing. The programs were found to have no weaknesses, deficiencies or concerns.
Dean Mohammad Davoud offered his congratulations and thanks to Dr. Gursimran Walia, department chair of Computer Science; his immediate predecessor Dr. Hong Zhang; Dr. Yiming Ji, department chair of Information Technology; Dr. Cheryl Aasheim, assessment team chair for IT; and Dr. David Williams, Associate Dean for Students and Curriculum, who also chaired the ABET accreditation team.
