NSF Awards $524,706 to Two CEIT Faculty

Valentin Soloiu, PI, professor of mechanical engineering and Allen E. Paulson Chair of Renewable Energy, and Rocio Alba-Flores, Co-PI, associate professor of electrical engineering, have been awarded a three-year grant of $524,706 by the National Science Foundation for their project entitled “ENgaging Educators in Renewable enerGY (ENERGY).”  The Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Information Technology is dedicated to increasing the level of STEM education throughout Georgia with projects like ENERGY.
