IT Specialist – Foodmate US

The I.T. Specialist is primarily responsible for working with the entire office support staff and remote users to support all mobile, desktop, and enterprise applications. This role will also be responsible for supporting SAP B1 users and functionality including report and query writing.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support for all desktop, mobile and Enterprise applications

• Identifying, recommending and implementing proper network security for Enterprise systems and end users

• Deployment of new applications and updates to applications

• Support for email and email policies via Gmail

• Managing firewall and firewall settings

• Management of wired and wireless network

• Hardware support – Printers, scanners, plotters, etc.

• IT Asset management of all laptops, mobile devices, network components

• Recommend and implement new technology

• SQL query support for SAP

• Report design and writing for SAP on Crystal Report platform

• Support and deploy Office 365 for enterprise

• Work with IT partners to solve daily and enterprise issues

• Creates, upgrades and maintains Standard operating procedures

• Provides training to end users on best practices and standard procedures

• Responsible for all backups, system redundancies and IT disaster recovery

• Works with internal clients to understand needs and identifying solutions

• Works with internal clients to understand information needs and provides solutions to give output/reports the meet needs

• IP Phone System support and maintenance

• Migration to Domain server and Exchange server

• Hardware purchasing and warranty maintenance

Qualifications

Education

  • 2 year degree or equivalent certification

Skills

  •  Analyst/statistics
  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Microsoft Office i.e. PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Self-starter who does not require direct supervision
  • Ability to develop a plan, execute a plan, and report on findings
  • Customer service and ability to work with end-users to train effectively

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of I.T. or related experience
