The LILAC Project: A Study of Student Information-Seeking Behaviors

You are invited to participate in a research study. The purpose of the
study is to determine the relationship between what students are
taught about library and online research and how students actually
conduct such research.

Participants will complete a brief questionnaire and then participate in
a research exercise that will record them doing research on a topic
while talking about what they are doing and why. The study will only
take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time, but what we learn
from this study may help to improve how students are taught information
seeking skills (research skills) in the future, here at Georgia
Southern University as well as around the country.
