Dr. El Shahat honored by Egyptian government

The Ministry of State of Emigration & Egyptian Expatriates presented the country’s deepest respect and appreciation for Dr. Adel El Shahat’s scientific, academic and professional achievements.  Dr. El Shahat and 20 other Egyptian expatriate scientists were honored at the Egypt Can 3 (Taa Marbouta) Conference in Luxor held February 24-27, 2018 under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.  The awards were presented by Egypt’s Immigration Minister, Nabila Markam (pictured below, with El Shahat).

Adel El Shahat, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, would like to extend his deepest thanks to Georgia Southern and the College of Engineering & Computing, as well as the U.S. for their kindness and support.
